Amongst the hustle and bustle of London yesterday there was such solidarity for our farmers.
Folk in suits dancing in the streets to the sound of tractor horns, friendly scaffolders telling us to get over to Number 10 and "tell 'im what's what", curious Londoners asking why we were there and wanting to understand the protest.
Smiles and waves and thumbs up for the tractor drivers.
We witnessed one young man, who was working in the city, walk across to a group of farmers with carrier bags full of sandwiches, drinks and refreshments. He had bought them as a gesture of his support and it was heart-warming and sincere.
There will always be pockets of people who can't align themselves with where we are coming from and that's never going to change, but we should absolutely be buoyed by and take heart from the fact that there is overwhelming and genuine public support for farmers in this country 🖤
